Buffalo Popcorn Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 1 Chicken Breast, butterflied and cut in half and cut into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 Tbsp Hot Sauce
  • 1 cup of Flour
  • 1/4 tsp Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/4 – 1/2 cup Buffalo Sauce

Directions:

  1. In a bowl, whisk the hot sauce and milk together (adjust the hot sauce to your taste).
  2. Toss the chicken in the milk and hot sauce mixture. Make sure every piece is fully coated.
  3. In another bowl mix the flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt and pepper together.
  4. Dredge the chicken in the flour mixture and make sure each piece is fully coated.
  5. Fry the chicken, a handful at a time, in 315°F for 3 -4 minutes.
  6. Remove the chicken from the oil and place in a paper towel lined bowl to soak up the excess oil.
  7. Immediately sprinkle with a little bit of salt and pepper, or I also like to use seasoning salt.
  8. Once all the chicken has been fried remove the paper towel and wipe up any oil that dripped into the bowl; leaving the chicken in the bowl.
  9. Toss the chicken and buffalo sauce together. Add enough sauce to fully coat each piece of chicken.
  10. Serve with ranch dressing, blue cheese dressing, carrots, or celery stalks!
